Monday, April 28th, 3 to 7 PM at the Ford Foundation, East River Room.
Barry Gaberman and friends will be sharing their stories of increasing global
organized philanthropy.
LAFF members will have an opportunity to get together and renew old friendships and make new ones at our LAFF/New York Spring Gathering. The topic of our meeting will be the history of what Ford and other foundations have done to promote the field of organized philanthropy, both in the United States and around the world. Our special guest speaker will be Barry Gaberman, who served the Foundation in multiple positions for 35 years. Hilary Pennington, Vice President for Education, Creativity and Free Expression, who is responsible for the Foundation’s philanthropy portfolio, will be sharing her thoughts and comments. We are thrilled that a number of other LAFF colleagues and representatives from other foundations will also be sharing their reflections. Michael Seltzer, chair of LAFF’s New York Program Committee, will be our moderator. |
