In Memoriam, Spring 2014
Gustav Ranis, who worked for the Foundation in overseas offices, died last October. He was hired as a program assistant in 1957 and then served in Pakistan as assistant to the representative and as a program specialist in economic development. He left the Foundation in 1961 but served as a consultant for programs in Southeast Asia, Dacca and Cairo through 1976. |
